Mahendra Prakash is a family-run haveli-style hotel with 26 rooms, situated on Lake Palace Road overlooking the Sajan Niwas Gardens. This green oasis of tall trees, guava orchards and the famous Gulab Bagh means the temperature is always two or three degrees cooler in this part of the city. The hotel; a five minute drive from the bus and railway stations, is within easy walking distance of the bazaars and various sites of the old city and offers a friendly, efficient service and hospitality that has made it one of Udaipur's favourite hotels.

Our hotel rooms are spacious and based on traditional rajput theme.  Separate private balcony is available on some rooms. Broadly we have three types of rooms available - Standard, Superior and Deluxe.  All rooms are well furnished and can accommodate family of four as well as business executives. Room amenities as satellite tv,  direct phone, room service, attached European style washrooms, windows overlooking the hotel swimming pool, cupboards, study desk etc. are standard in all our rooms.  Bed, table and wall linen are best in the class with beautiful designs and vibrant colors to radiate positive energy.

Mahendra Prakash has twenty specious and well appointed ensuite bed-rooms, with a choice of either air-conditioning or air-cooling systems. Each room has been given an individual style, but good service and cleanliness are common to all.

Restaurant & Bar

Out attractive restaurant is perched above a historic step well (baori), which, for over 300 years, has been the source of water for the Bohera Family mansion, situated behind the hotel. The Restaurant stands in the gardens near to the swimming pool, and so is easily accessible throughout the day, for those whishing for a meal, snacks or beverages whilst relaxing...
